FAQs

What is a primary care physician (PCP0)?

A primary care doctor is a health care practitioner that treats patients with common non-life threatening medical problems. The primary care physician (PCP) can be your main source whenever you seek help for most of your health care needs.  PCP will also serve as your access point to better medical care should you need to seek treatment from a specialist. After recurring visits you will start to develop a good relationship with our primary care doctor, which will provide greater insight to your health history and enable the doctor to better diagnose and treat any health problems.

Why and how often should I see a primary care physician?

The primary care doctor needs to be seen on a regular basis, looking for symptoms that you may not easily notice. Instead of focusing on curing diseases, the goal of our primary care doctor is to focus on preventive medicine, therefore averting any disease from developing in the first place.  It is always better to prevent an illness than to cure it.
