At the Medical Center of New York, we are contracted with most major insurances and all of their plan levels (PPOs, POS, HMOs, etc.). Following is a sample list of major insurances that our medical office accepts: Blue Cross/Blue Shield (all states) Oxford, AETNA, United Healthcare, Guardian, GHI, Healthnet, Great West, Cigna, MagnaCare, Atlantis, 1199, POMCO, First Health, Coventry Health, MVP, Emblem, Beech Street, PHCS, Multiplan, Consolidated Health Plan, etc. If your insurance is not listed, call our medical clinic and our staff will verify insurance participation questions.

What is the cost of the office visit for uninsured?
At our clinic we service both, insured and uninsured patients. We are committed to providing the best quality of care, regardless of whether you have health coverage or not. With the understanding that not all New York City residents or out-of-state visitors have insurance, we strive to keep our medical health services as low as possible so that everyone can receive the care they need. Any primary care related visit (sickness, medication refill, x-ray scripts, etc.) is $90. Physical examinations (annual, pre-employment, school, corporate, and commercial drivers-DOT/CDL) are $150. STD testing consultations are $98 (test price not included). Travel immunization consultations are $65 plus the vaccine(s) cost. What do I need to bring for my visit?
Patients are advised to bring their insurance cards with them at the time of the visit. If you do not have an insurance card yet but have coverage, please contact your insurer or HR department and obtain your member ID number (also known as subscriber number) and the medical claims mailing address. Medical records (surgical/medications/immunization) are not mandatory, but very helpful, especially with travel immunization and physical examination visits.

When will I receive results for tests taken at your office?
If you had any tests done expect your results in 3-5 business days. You will have to call us back for the results, which our doctor will disclose to you over the phone.
